APARTMENT
82.F

(PARIS · 2022)

(RESIDENTIAL)

With a career in design, this particular client wanted a hands-on approach when it came to designing their Parisian home. We lended our design expertise to ensure that their vision came through to reality. Inspired by classic Parisian architecture, they wanted the volumes of the apartment to do the talking and so paired these details with modern but art-deco inspired furnishings.

Our client wanted to stick to a neutral colour palette and to explore fabrics with contrasting textures. Whilst we needed to be restrictive with tone; the details were where we could be more playful.

The focus on typical Hausmanian architecture that came with the apartment has been playfully highlighted by the soft curvature of the furniture and joinery produced by Equa Ultra.

Another key focus for this client was ensuring that the spaces were suitable for entertaining. The dining area and lounge exist within the same room and the black marble dining table that frames the end of the room with accompanying light pendants creates an invisible closure so guests can enjoy both elements of the room without feeling crowded.
